Guitarist Juan Antonio Suárez CANO to play Dublin

Virtuoso flamenco guitarist and composer Juan Antonio Suárez CANO travels to Dublin for two exceptional concerts, accompanied by his father, singer Dámaso Suárez, for a very special collaboration “al cante”.

Proudly presented by Peña Flamenca El Indalo, these events will take place in two of Dublin’s most intimate venues to set the perfect mood for Cano’s wonderful playing.

The Cobblestone Bar in Smithfield will host the special unplugged performance of Cano on Wednesday 18th November, while Crawdaddy, in the Old Harcourt Station, will offer the perfect theatre layout for Cano’s second performance on Thursday 19th November.

Capacity at both venues is limited and demand will be high, so it is essential to arrive early to ensure admission. Tickets will be on sale at the door.

About Juan Antonio Suárez CANO

In 2003, Cano was selected by renowned guitarist Gerardo Nuñez to contribute to “La nueva escuela de guitarra flamenca”, an album showcasing the work of young musicians that Nuñez felt were redefining flamenco guitar. Cano’s debut album, “Son de ayer” was released in 2008.

Cano also has a formidable performance track record, having played for such outstanding flamenco dancers as Sara Baras, Merche Esmeralda, Belén Maya, Rafaela Carrasco and Andrés Marin. Most recently he has been collaborating with Concha Jareño, who performed earlier this year in Dublin’s Button Factory.
